Amber Fort is located in Amber city (Jaipur), which used to be the capital of the Kachhwaha clan, till Jaipur was made the official capital in 1727. The Amber Fort looks eye-catching, all-built in white sandstone and red granite. To add to its attraction, Maotha Lake makes its background. The sparkler mirror image of the Fort, on the still waters of the lagoon, seems to be a beautiful daydream. Amber Fort is frequently well-defined as Amer Fort.
